Donations we need

What we need right now

What we can’t accept

We can only accept donations that comply with current UK safety regulations, are hygienic and that we have space to store. Also, we have to prioritise the most-needed items that we are regularly asked for. Therefore, we are currently unable to accept the following items:

  • Bikes
  • Breastfeeding pillows
  • Bumbo seats
  • Car accessories and sun shades
  • Car seats
  • Cot bumpers or mobiles
  • Door bouncers
  • Electrical items, such as baby monitors, sterilisers and gro clocks
  • Furniture including rocking chairs, changing tables, nappy bins and swinging cribs
  • Maternity clothes
  • Mattresses (if donating a moses basket please do include the mattress so we can check the size and then we’ll dispose of it safely)
  • Nursery décor including lampshades, curtains and pictures
  • Outdoor toys
  • Potties and toilet seats
  • Pregnancy and baby advice books
  • Safety equipment, such as reins, cupboard locks, etc
  • Soft toys in large sizes (small soft toys are welcome)
  • Toiletries that are open or part used
  • Travel cots

Please ensure all donated items are in full working order with no missing parts and are clean with no mould. We are a small team and unfortunately don’t have capacity to be able to fix broken items, find replacement parts or do safety tests on electrical items. Very occasionally we receive items we can’t re-home due to lack of demand. We reserve the right to refuse, dispose of or sell these items.
